The 2010 Naugatuck River/ Road Race and Festival was held May 8, 2010.
River Clean-up in Beacon Falls: April 24th.

The proceeds from the River Race and Festival go right back into the local communities along the river. All those checks should be made payable to the “Beacon Falls Merchants Association”.
The proceeds from the Road Race go towards the Laurel Ledge PTO & the Nick Bielik Memorial Scholarship Fund. All those checks should be made payable to “Laurel Ledge PTO”, a 501(c) organization from which you will receive a confirmation letter for your tax records.
The down river kayak and canoe race starts in Waterbury goes through Naugatuck, and finishes in Beacon Falls.
There are two starting points. The Expert course is about 6.5 miles.
The Novice course is about 6.0 miles.
We have a "town vs town" race from the Novice course. The requirment is the person racing must work for or be on a committee of a local town/ city.
